How can I have a personal Bible study?

Every Pastor or leader who wishes to be successful in the G12 Vision, must stay in daily contact with God's Word through disciplined study of the scriptures.

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.
(Psalms 1:1-3 NIV).

Through personal study of the Word, the Lord speaks to us and can guide us to make correct decisions in all the work of the Vision.

The image that the psalmist gives us is the ideal for every congregation: to bear fruit on time, that no one leaves the church and that each area of the Vision flourishes. But it will only be possible to the extent that as Pastors we remain connected to the Word of God.

We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
(Hebrews 2:1 NIV)

The key word to maintain that contact with the Word of God through the teachings of Jesus is: diligence.

We must be diligent in studying the Word, diligent in applying each teaching in our own life, and diligent in communicating it.

Every Pastor or leader must constantly study the Word and deepen each divine teaching.

We are living in the last days: very difficult hours when anyone can slip quickly.
The person who diligently studies the divine teachings will never fall, because God sustains him. The Holy Spirit is in charge of strengthening that person spiritually so that he does not depart from divine grace.

How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
(Hebrews 2:3 NIV)

Dr. Derek Prince said, "Either the Word of God will lead you away from sin, or sin will lead you away from the Word of God."

The only way to escape any condemnation is to maintain our relationship with the words of life given by the Lord Jesus.
