Discipleship in the 12 meetings is a very important aspect because it is the model for reproducing the character of Christ in an efficient way.

Choosing a team of 12 people is one of the most important steps in working with the Vision, because that is where the foundation is laid for the rest of the ministry.

The 12 meetings are a weekly training place, where the team is being discipled in order to grow spiritually. They are also motivated to conquer their own team of 12, which is the second generation of disciples.

New people are discipled in your cell group week after week, but when these disciples have moved on and become cell group leaders, it is time for them to join a team of 12.

At that time they will continue to be discipled in the 12 meetings. These meetings are similar to the cell group, but the difference is that cell group leaders attend.

The cell groups are made up of disciples and the 12 meetings are made up of cell group leaders.

Think about your children

Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.

(Mark 3:13-15)

Choosing His team of 12 marked a before and and an after in the ministry of Jesus. It was through the formation of this team that the message of salvation would be shared throughout the centuries. The call to be close to Him is a call of character building: in your relationships, in your spiritual life and in your life of service to God.

When we have the privilege of having a team of 12 we must plan very well the teachings that we share with them. We should intentionally meet the needs of our team through the Word. Each meeting is an opportunity to heal, deliver, form and meet the needs of each team member. Every 12 meeting is a wonderful opportunity to form the best team.
