The four precious opportunities are glimpses of the spiritual kingdom. They allow us to come back to life and to recover what was lost.
The four precious opportunities are:
1. Opportunity of an Encounter: It is the opportunity to start over and return to the arms of GOD. Doing this is a personal decision.
When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
(Luke 15:17-18 NIV)
2. Opportunity of Reconciliation: It is the opportunity to restore relationships and above all to reconcile with God and also with the people around us.
I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
(Luke 15:19-20 NIV)
3. Opportunity of Restoration: This opportunity allows the love of GOD to transform every area of our being.
But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
(Luke 15:22 NIV)
4. Opportunity of Provision: It is the opportunity to receive God's superabundant provision by which there is access to the Father's resources.
Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
(Luke 15:23-24 NIV)
Teach the four precious opportunities and help your disciples to experience them. This will bring purpose to their lives!
