How often should I meet with my team of 12?
For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.
(Proverbs 11:14)
It is essential that we have contact with our team of 12 every week. We give them vision, direction and personal guidance to each member of the team. Jesus did not meet with His team on a weekly basis, but He practically called them to live with Him. He had limited time to train them. Once a week is enough time to plan the different activities and to share a word that builds the faith of the team.
The 12 meetings should be focused on strengthening the relationships and the spiritual level of the team. This will contribute to a healthy ministerial development.
The Pastor or leader must be very sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in order to recognize and minister according to the needs of the team.
Jesus maintained a permanent relationship with His twelve and was able to minister and teach them personally for three years, until they were ready to continue the work.
