To lead is to inspire others by example, getting people to their highest potential so that they may do the same towards others.
This includes working on their character, finding their talents and gifts, and bringing healing over those who believe, for different reasons, that they are unqualified to serve God.

From this perspective, being a leader looks a lot like being father. Leadership is not something you can impose on people, but something you do by loving them. In fact, welcoming a new believer and working on discipling them, is like having a new born child. In contrast, using pressure or intimidation to lead, will do nothing but weaken the church to its foundation.
A real leader and disciple of Jesus does the ministry and the task of leading others with joy, courage and diligence, because is motivated by love and not by pressure; look at Jesus’ 12 team example, they voluntarily offered their lives to expand the kingdom of God.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
