What is the biblical foundation of the G12 Vision?

The instruction of Jesus was to make disciples and not just followers. That is why the G12 Vision provides effective tools to develop this calling and to fulfill the ministry that the Lord entrusted us to make each member of His church become a disciple, a worker sent by God.

FOLLLOWING JESUS

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
(Matthew 9:35-38)

Jesus told us that if we want to be successful in ministry we should follow His example.

“I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”
(John 13:15)

For many years an attempt was made to carry out the Great Commission, but forgetting the way in which Jesus did it first.

The G12 Vision follows the example of Jesus in winning souls and making disciples.

“Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.”
(Mark 3:13-15)

The vision that God has given us is the answer to the desire of His heart. We are not doing something new, we are simply following the example of Jesus.
The best strategy for developing consistent growth in the ministry is through personal discipleship, as Jesus did, who invested most of His ministry time in building His team of 12 disciples.
